Kayak Fishing Vacation on the ‘Tuna Coast’

A kayak fishing vacation at the Azuero Peninsula and the ‘Tuna Coast’ gives every chance of encountering big fish. The Continental Shelf runs close to the shore, which brings game fish within the reach of kayak fishers. There are plenty of fish varieties also.

This area is great for a kayak fishing vacation as it offers the kayak angler a variety of launching sites and take out locations. We can also fish on either side of the Peninsula depending on the season.

The accomodation on offer for this kayak fishing vacation is a full range from high end hotels to guest houses and back packer resorts, which make this an easy location for all budgets  and even for family members to come along. This is a very culture rich area of Panama with plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and beaches to enjoy.

Paddling Experience

Fishing starts and ends on land, we promote true kayak fishing. Depending on conditions and location we have a support panga.

There are some remote locations and panga´s may be used from time to time to reposition anglers.

The offshore areas we fish requires good seamanship, we have a qualified guide with anglers at all times.

It will be all anglers responsibility to prepare them self physically and technically for these trips.

We require all anglers to complete a form related to their experience and physical paddle capability.

Prior to any fishing a check out paddle will be required.

We will inform all anglers of the requirements needed for each trip. Any angler that can not conform to these will not be allowed to go to sea.

Instruction is part of the trip and anglers will be shown launching and beaching technique. If you want to learn safely this is the place. We’ll schedule advanced and beginners trips throughout the year to accommodate all levels of kayak anglers.

Safety is always our first priority and fishing will always be scheduled around what weather and ocean conditions permit.
